These San Clemente dogs were able to beat the heat in our pool. Where the temperature outside our building reached a staggering 105 degrees. All the other dogs in group were cool and protected from the elements in our indoor climate controlled facility.

All you have to do is register your Ralphs Rewards Card and indicate Pet Project foundation as your charity of choice, and Ralphs will donate a percentage of your shopping totals each time you shop.

Go to http://www.ralphs.com/

On the top of the page clock on "Sign in" (if you already have an online account with Ralphs.) "Register" (if you have not registered your Ralphs club card.) Which will be described bellow

A. Enter your e-mail address and confirm
B. Select a preferred store by entering your zip code and clicking search.
C. Enter and confirm your password.
D. Click on any e-mail subscriptions you want to have then click next.
E. Enter your RALPHS REWARDS card number and complete information, then click next.
F. Agree to the Terms and Conditions by checking the box.
G. Registration Complete.

You will then get a message in your e-mail, open the email and click on the link within the body. The window will be a pop-up so make sure it doesn't get blocked. You will now see "Your Ralphs.com Account has been activated."

Click on the "Click Here" button to log into your account.
A. If your session has expired, you will be directed to the sign-in page.
B. Enter your email address and password to sign in.
Scroll down until you see the Edit Community Contribution link. Click here.
Enter Pet Project Foundation for the name of the organization. Select Pet Project Foundation from the list and click save changes.
To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see Pet Project foundation on your account page.

You have now completed your Online rewards card registration AND your Community Contributions registration. You can logout on the top of the page now.

Doggy Dictionary

LEASH: A strap which attaches to your collar, enabling you to lead your person where you want him/her to go.

DOG BED: Any soft, clean surface, such as the white bedspread in the guest room or the newly upholstered couch in the living room.

DROOL: A liquid which, when combined with sad eyes, forces humans to give you their food. To do this properly you must sit as close as you can and get the drool on the human.

SNIFF: A social custom used to greet other dogs, similar to the human exchange of business cards.

GARBAGE CAN: A container which your neighbors put out once a week to test your ingenuity. You must stand on your hind legs and try to push the lid off with your nose. If you do it right you are rewarded with margarine wrappers to shred, beef bones to consume and moldy crusts of bread.

BICYCLES: Two-wheeled exercise machines, invented for dogs to control body fat. To get maximum aerobic benefit, you must hide behind a bush and dash out, bark loudly and run alongside for a few yards. The person then swerves and falls into the bushes, and you prance away.

DEAFNESS: This is a malady which affects dogs when their person wants them in and they want to stay out. Symptoms include staring blankly at the person, then running in the opposite direction, or lying down.

THUNDER: This is a signal that the world is coming to an end. Humans remain amazingly calm during thunderstorms, so it is necessary to warn them of the danger by trembling uncontrollably, panting, rolling your eyes wildly, and following at their heels.

WASTEBASKET: This is a dog toy filled with paper, envelopes, and old candy wrappers. It is important to evenly distribute its contents throughout the house before your person comes home.

BATH : If you find something especially good to roll in, humans get jealous, and they use this degrading form of torture to get even. Be sure to shake only when next to a person or a piece of furniture.

LEAN: Every good dog's response to the command "sit!," especially if your person is dressed for an evening out. Incredibly effective before black-tie events.

BUMP: The best way to get your human's attention when they are drinking a fresh cup of coffee or tea.

GOOSE BUMP: A maneuver to use as a last resort when the regular bump doesn't get the attention you require ... especially effective when combined with the sniff. See above.

CHILDREN: Short humans of optimal petting height. Standing close to one assures some good petting. When running, they are good to chase. If they fall down, they are comfortable to sit on.

LOVE: A feeling of intense affection, given freely and without restriction. The best way you can show your love is to wag your tail. If you're lucky, a human will love you in return.

Shiloh the sweet Golden Retriever, just got adopted a few days ago to a loving home.

Here's what Shiloh's new parents had to say about him

"Hi Chris and everyone at PAWS,

Just thought that I would share some pictures of Shiloh at his new forever home. He is doing great and has adapted very well. He loves going for long walks and meeting all of the other neighborhood dogs. He carries around his favorite toy monkey or of course a tennis ball most of the day. Chasing lizards out of the yard is great fun too.

From the first day I came to stay with you all, I have had so much fun frolicking, making new friends and being loved. When I am at Paws, I can be the crazy, fun loving hippie dog that I am. At home I am not allowed to race around and leap over things, but at Paws I can do it all! After a long day of fun and play with my fellow Kings and Queens of Frolic at Paws, I sleep so soundly. My Mom and Dad tell me how good I am being. It's because I have had so much fun at doggie Disneyland all day.

But most of all, everyone at Paws is so good to me and loves me so much.

Paws is my second doggie home.

Troubleshooting our webcams

We get a lot of calls about our cameras not working. It really pains us to know you cant see how much fun your dog/s are having. We hope this will help out. Thank you for hanging in there with us.

The best thing to do is check if your Java (a flash plugin for the internet) is up to date. You can do that by following this link. Dont worry its not a big install. http://www.java.com/en/download/dt_verify.jsp?plugin=true&latest=true&users_jre=1.6.0_18
If that doesn't work then another thing you can do is delete your temporary internet files. To do this you just have to go to Tools>Internet options>Delete browsing history.
Another thing to try to do is clear your Java cache in your Java console. Java posted a tutorial to open your Java console if you dont know how. http://www.java.com/en/download/help/javaconsole.xml when you have your Java console open you can press the letter "x" on your keyboard and this will clear the cache. Then close and open your internet and connect to the cameras again.
If that still doesn't work then there is another small flash plugin and its called adobe flash. When this teams up with Java the cameras usually come up no problem. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Also you might wanna check your Anti-Virus and Firewall programs to make sure they are not blocking the cameras.

Please realize we are not computer savvy and this is just a do it yourself tutorial. Paws is not responsible for any computer malfunctions. If you know a fix or you are still not getting a picture you can call or leave a comment here. Thank you and have a great day.
